My lip blush technique focuses on creating a soft, sheer tint that enhances your natural lips rather than covering them. By building colour gradually, I improve symmetry and give the illusion of fuller, healthier lips while keeping the overall look subtle and effortless.
A detailed consultation is carried out where we assess your natural lip shape, undertones, and the kind of result you want to achieve. This helps us choose pigments that complement your complexion and blend seamlessly with your natural lip colour.
My goal is always to enhance what you already have. The final result is a gentle flush of colour that looks balanced, fresh, and naturally defined from the moment you wake up.
What is lip blush?
Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural colour and shape of the lips. Using a specialised technique, pigment is gently implanted into the lips to create a soft, natural, tinted effect.
Is lip blush an alternative to filler?
Lip blush is often chosen as a natural-looking alternative to filler without injections. It creates definition, where pigment can be lost due to filler. However it doesn't physically add volume.
What are the benefits of lip blush?
Lip blush offers a range of benefits, such as improving symmetry, balance and tone, defines the lip border and enhances the natural lip colour. It's also extremely low maintenance.
How long does lip blush last?
Lip blush typically lasts between 1 and 3 years, depending on factors like skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Most people choose to have a top-up every 12 to 18 months.
Why is an 8 week top-up needed?
An 8 week top-up is part of the process to perfect results. The second session allows us to refine the colour, enhance definition and ensure a beautifully even, long lasting finish tailored just for you.
What happens during a lip blush treatment?
Before any treatment, a full consultation is required which includes a colour discussion, patch test and pre draw plus pre treatment instructions will be provided and of course, any questions answered.
On the day of treatment, your lips will be pre drawn to create an accurate guide. We will look at colours again and once you are happy, the ink is then gradually built up in the lips allowing for natural-looking results.
